Local markets are a lot of fun to go to, especially during summer and fall. I am very picky about produce, and I like to know what I'm getting when I buy it. Going to local markets are great because you get to meet the people who might have grown/harvested the produce, and you know what's in it and if they used chemicals or anything else like that. It's also good for the local economy..it's just really good in general to support local farmers and others selling things they made/produced. One day I hope to be able to set up at some markets and sell stuff of my own, like baked goods, candy, maybe some craft items, etc. Not totally sure yet but it's something fun I'd like to do one day.
