I love the DIY aspect of the laundry detergent, but I'd feel weird washing my clothes in the same ingredient that can kill an entire colony of ants (Terro). I know there are more toxic chemicals than Borax, but it can be toxic if ingested. I'd feel better using Green Works or Seventh Generation - good for the environment and healthy for me to breath or spill without worries of harming anyone/anycat in the house.
ReplyDeleteborax isn't actually all that toxic, but i would take precautions with any type of cleaner or soap anyway, even if it was a natural one like green works.
